IIoT in Automation Developed in SMEClabs
Industrial Control over internet
Trivandrum: Industrial Internet of Things in automation developed by a group of CRG Engineers at SMEClabs Trivandrum. The main moto of the technology is to control the inputs and outputs of a PLC or a group of PLCs through a common cloud server. A person who has an account on that particular server can access the I/Os were ever from the globe.
The Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT) refers to interconnected sensors, instruments, and other devices networked together with computer industrial applications as well as to control over a wide variety of industrial data from any location. The control including manufacturing and energy management with effective control of I/Os is what needed. This connectivity allows for data collection, exchange, and analysis, potentially facilitating improvements in productivity and efficiency as well as other economic benefits. The IIoT is an evolution of a Distributed Control System (DCS) that allows for a higher degree of automation by using cloud computing to refine and optimize the process controls.
